Amanda Axelrod Pak, MA LLMFT
Therapist
I am a Limited Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LLMFT), supervised by Sarah Harrier, MS, LMFT, CCTP. Over the past 2.5 years, I've found deep fulfillment in helping individuals, couples, and families navigate the complexities of their relationships, fostering growth in understanding and communication.
I hold a Master's degree in Couples, Marriage, and Family Therapy, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Counseling and Addiction Recovery Sciences, both from Texas Tech University. Originally from Texas, I recently made the move to Michigan, where I’ve enjoyed exploring all that this beautiful state has to offer. When I'm not in the therapy room, I love spending time with my husband, playing card games, serving at our church, working out, and discovering new adventures around Michigan.
My Approach
In my practice, I focus on helping clients heal from their past while encouraging new experiences that lay the foundation for a thriving future. My approach integrates Experiential Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and I have experience working with various presenting problems, including but not limited to relationship conflict, anxiety, depression, anger management, and self-esteem building.
I believe that every client has unique needs and goals for therapy, and I make it a priority to listen and tailor my approach to meet those needs. Guided by my personal faith, I am passionate about empowering my clients to grow, develop positive self-esteem, and find healing. While therapy can be challenging, it holds the potential to bring about profound and lasting change, and I am here to support you every step of the way.
