Madeleine Lamb, MS, LLMFT
Therapist
I earned a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Michigan State University, and then completed a master’s degree in Couple and Family Therapy from Purdue University Northwest.
I love going on walks with a podcast or audiobook, spending time with my partner, going out with friends, dancing, watching Netflix, and trying new restaurants and coffee shops.
My Approach
I provide a warm, attuned, and safe space for clients seeking support for a variety of concerns including self-esteem, anxiety, trauma, identity exploration and acceptance, relationship concerns, life transitions, and parenting. I deeply value helping people become empowered to name their needs and foster intimacy, emotional awareness, curiosity, and compassion in their lives. While I will bring my education, training, and experience to our therapeutic relationship, you are the expert on your lived experience.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, rooted in my belief that authentic connection between client and therapist is the foundation for successful therapy. I incorporate various modalities in my work according to clients’ unique needs and goals, including narrative therapy, feminist therapy, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and emotion focused therapy (EFT). I strive to provide responsive, affirming care to clients of all genders, sexualities, races, and other important intersecting identities.
